Exam and assessment structure
The exam on 3 May 2027 lasts 3 hours. The first section has 42 multiple-choice questions answered in 85 minutes, and the second has 4 free-response questions in 95 minutes; the two sections are weighted equally. Students are expected to combine mathematical solutions, graph interpretation and experimental design. In the hybrid digital exam, free-response solutions are written on paper; calculus is one of the course’s essential tools.
Preparation at Youprep Studio
In this course we start preparation by assessing the student’s prior knowledge and needs. We carry out topic work together with the relevant question and assessment types, and develop the student’s ability to apply knowledge and justify answers. We track progress with practice suited to the course structure and regular review, and update the study plan for the target exam session.
