IB Business Management SL ve HL

Course scope

IB Business Management examines how businesses are organised and make decisions through human resources, finance, marketing and operations management. Students analyse real business situations and evaluate different options with justification.

Exam and assessment structure

SL has Paper 1 and Paper 2; HL adds Paper 3, focused on social enterprise. Students also prepare a project investigating a real business issue. This internal assessment is worth 30% at SL and 20% at HL. The subject combines conceptual knowledge with financial interpretation, case analysis and evaluating the impact of decisions on different stakeholders.

Preparation at Youprep Studio

In this subject we work according to the student’s SL or HL level, exam year and the program followed at school. We close topic gaps and work on using knowledge in the relevant assessment formats and justifying answers. We set study priorities with the school’s exam and submission calendar in mind, and organise review and practice around the student’s progress.
